Sixth Task

Children working in factories:

The information about the main events of the French Revolution has been very useful. But now, France, after the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte, is an absolute state with problems to face. The new king, Louis XVIII doesn't seem to be waiting an alliance with our boss. So we are send to Great Britain where the Industrial Revolution is taking part. Our superiors want to know how children labour conditions in factories are. We've become again reporters and we've investigate it. We have interviewed an industrialist, we have written the information in our newspapper ("The Morning") and we have made a photo-report. Look:

Fifth Task: The French Revolution

French Revolution has started and we're still on Earth but... The Empire rulers are more and more interested in the events that are taking part in France and they have asked us to provide geographical and accurate information about the development of the revolution.

We have entered the mind of a representer of the bourgeoisie called Cédric Chardin. Now, we have to live the Revolution from his point of view.

Fourth Task

The Scientific Revolution

Interview has been very succesfull and thousands of magazines have been sold!!! We've demonstrated that we're a brilliant reporters.

However... Our superiors aren't happy with us because we've contributed to spread the Enlightenment ideas endangering the alliance with the French absolute monarchy. The Aliens Empire doesn't want us to go back home. We are considered traitors in permanent exile on Earth.

So we've decide to stay working as journalists in the newspaper while waiting an opportunity to return to our planet.

As Enlightened newspaper's reporters, we've been asked to investigate the scientific advances during the 17th and 18th century. For this purpose, we've make a timeline with the great advances produced in medicine, technology, sciences, transport...:

Third Task: First Part

Principles of the Enlightenment

Our superior is happy with the information we gave him. He wants to make an alliance with the French King Louis XVI. The boss has heard of a cultural movement that is criticising the structure of the Ancien Régime and could precipitate the crisis of the system. We have to infiltrate ourselves as journalists in a newspaper in order to meet an Enlightenment thinker and interview him.
We will need to timetravel to meet the philosopher we have to interview. Our superior won't let us timetravel if we don't give him a list with the four fundamental principles of the Enlightenment so... Boss, here you have:

1.     The law as order of the natural world.
2.     The power of human reason.
3.     The "natural rights" of individuals (including the right of self government).
4.     The progressive improvement of society.

Europe Map

We have drawn a map of Europe in a plant view from our UFO's. Look:

The French monarchy is the greatest  monarchy of Europe. The Russian Empire, The Austrian Empire, The Ottoman Empire and The German Empire are the greatest empires.

Prussia, Austria, Sweden, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Saxony have enlightened monarchies.

Ireland and Great Britain have monarchies with limited power.
